Dayspring 2008 Missions Trips

Dayspring’s Outreach Ministry is privileged to have a Team of thirty-two youth and adults who will be traveling to Mexico City in July and ten adults traveling to Cairo, Egypt in November, to minister to the garbage pickers and families living in Mexico’s garbage dumps and Cairo’s garbage cities. There are hundreds of thousands of men, women and children living in the garbage cities of both countries who are suffering from poverty, abuse, neglect and many physical afflictions. Our Teams will partner with Operation Serve International to help provide FREE medical assistance, dental care, optical care, personal hygiene, hair care and individual ministry. Another important ministry area is the children’s ministry which will consist of clowning, face painting, arts and crafts, and organized sports games. We will also be handing out all the supplies and donations that we have collected in preparation for the trip.

We thank God for this opportunity to use the gifts and talents that He has put within each and every one of us, to minister to a lost and needy people in the countries of Mexico and Egypt. We also want to thank the leadership and congregation of Dayspring, as well as many family members and friends, for standing with us in prayer and with financial support. Item Collections for the Missions Trips

April:
• T shirts (only), new or gently used (cleaned & folded)
all ages, all sizes
• Children’s new underwear and socks, all ages,
all sizes, male & female
• Infants clothing, sizes up to 12 months

May:
• Infant and toddler clothing, new or gently
used (cleaned & folded)
• New small toys for children (preferable fist sized)

June:
• Children’s chewable vitamins, latex gloves for
medical teams (sizes small & medium,)hair ribbons,
clips, bows, combs & brushes

• Hygiene items, such as: small shampoos and
conditioners, lotions, bars of soap, wash cloths,
toothbrushes & toothpaste

Note: We will not be collecting any other type of clothing!
